Email - Mobiles: Add an Office 365 email account to mobile native Mail app

These are generic instructions and screens may differ slightly depending upon software version.
iOS:
  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap "Accounts & Passwords" or "Mail", or "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" depending upon the iOS version
  3. Tap Add Account
  4. Tap Exchange, Office 365 or Exchange ActiveSync depending upon the options offered,
  5. Enter the Email address, Password and a short Description (e.g. Work or the company's name) for the email account
  6. Tap Next
  7. Account autodiscover will try to find the settings needed to configure the account. If autodiscover cannot find the settings, enter the following information:
    1. Server: outlook.office365.com
    2. Domain: Leave this field blank
    3. Username: Enter the full email address (unless given a different one from your email)
    4. SSL: On
    5. Tap Next
  8. Tap Save
Android:
  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, ActiveSync or Corporate.
  5. Enter Email address and Password.
  6. If there is a Domain\Username field, enter the full email address.
    1. If Domain and Username are separate fields, enter your full email address in Username, and leave Domain blank
    2. If it won't allow you to continue without a Domain, enter a backslash (\) followed by your email address, eg: \email@yourdomain.com
  7. If there is a Server field, enter outlook.office365.com.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. To complete auto configuration, tap Ok.
  10. Select the Account options to use. Selecting a longer sync period will show more calendar information and email, and require more memory.
  11. Tap Next.
  12. Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, to see the display name for the new email account. The display name can be changed here to something like Work, or the Company name.
  13. Tap Next to display the new inbox.
